Wall Mirrors

I bought this vintage oval mirror (shown at top & bottom) for $300 at a second hand store called Punch in Santa Barbara, it is by far my favorite wall mirror, I only have two wall mirrors living in a rather small one bedroom apartment, but still it's my favorite of the two and I think that's saying something.  I find that it adds character and depth to the area, and comes in handy every day.

Whether it's by the front door, on a staircase landing, in the bathroom or in the hall a wall-mirror is essential to a homes decor.  With the right type of wall mirror for your home it can add sophistication and a depth to your over-all decor and allows you to have a variety of wall decor, not only pictures.  Below are a few wall mirrors of various shapes and sizes that I thought were worthy of a look.

Mood Lighting Via Candles

I tub it 2-3 times a week feeling as though it does do me good, it's relaxing and contrary to the way your used to living your life and treating yourself, it is important to relax and take time to breath, lower that blood pressure from everyday life and what not.  Filling up the tub would be the first step, bath salts or oils the second step, and last but not least... setting the mood, best done with candles.  Here's a few top pick from D.L. Co. who produce candles that bewitch.  Warning!  You will be tempted to buy even if you categorize yourself as a non-candle fellow!  Just take a look at the most beautiful and mesmerizing candles you'll ever see.

Amongst The Many Other Things I Collect... Mugs

I collect many odd things here and there, among them are mugs.  It all started in an apartment I used to live in in beautiful Santa Barbara.  The kitchen had a counter, above the counter were a row of cabinets, under the cabinets hung my mugs- and so my love of collecting of mugs began.
