I have a library collection in the making and though it doesn't contain quite as many books as I would like there are still plenty to handle. And while I've organized them by genre and author I've never thought of organizing them by color! I'm fascinated with this new idea of color-coded books, in this logical brain of mine I wonder if it will make it hard or even impossible to find the book I'm looking for, or maybe it will be easier for me to find depending on how familiar I am with my book covers, I've come to the conclusion that it can really go either way 50/50. But I think it worth a try even simply to see how much I would like the looks of it, after all, who doesn't like to organize?

Home Libraries
Tweet
One of my favorite things to do is read and because I love to read I naturally love to collect books. I'm all for the iPad and the Kindle, traveling without carrying two or three books to weigh you down is worth while for the money in my perspective, but there's also something about collecting the actual physical book. The way the pages smell, the way the pages look, the artwork... I would even go as far as to say that the physical book themselves is art and history in one. This leads to my obsession with home libraries, I envy those who have been collecting books long enough to line shelves and shelves with books. However when it comes to home libraries it's not just about books anymore, it's also about the lay out. There's a million different home libraries all of which I think are just dreamy.
